OnMobile Global surges as Movistar renews contract

OnMobile Global, a company engeged in telecom value-added services (VAS), witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Monday after it has renewed its existing partnership with Telefónica's Movistar operators in Latin American Spanish speaking countries.  As per the agreement, OnMobile will continue to power its flagship Ringback Tone (RBT) service to Movistar's 132 million plus subscribers across 13 countries in Latin America for the next four years. Shares of the company are trading at Rs 87, up Rs 4.8, or 5.84% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 9:49 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 89.95 and low of Rs 82.85. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 222,563.
