Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), India's largest oil & gas company, has posted a fall of 10.21% in its net profit to Rs 54.44 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 60.63 billion in the same period last year.
Total income has decreased by 8.74% to Rs 218.08 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 31, 2014 from Rs 238.97 billion in the year ago period.
Shares of the company gained Rs 7.9, or 2.05%, to settle at Rs 393.35. The total volume of shares traded was 374,302 at the BSE (Friday).
