OMCs slip on drop in fuel prices

Oil marketing companies declined on Thursday after India's state-run oil marketing companies has decided to decrease in retail prices for petrol by Rs 0.80 a litre and retail price of diesel by Rs 1.30 a litre responding to lower crude oil prices. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) (2.70%), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) (1.91%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) (0.89%), edged lower.
