OMCs hike ATF prices by 5.49%

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have hiked Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices by 5.49% or Rs 2,245.93 a kilolitre (kl) to Rs 43,184.17 a kl in Delhi, effective from Oct 1, 2015. ATF will cost Rs 51,681.42 a kl in Kolkata (4.79), Rs. 44,141.75 a kl in Mumbai (5.48) and Rs. 47,858.56 a kl in Chennai (5.30).

On Oct 1, 2015 OMCs slashed diesel price by Rs 0.50 a litre at Delhi including state levies with corresponding price revision in other states. With this change, the price of diesel is Rs. 44.45 a litre.

OMCs revise the jet fuel prices on the first day of every month, based on the average international price in the preceding month.
