Omaxe said a steep drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 23.52% to Rs 138.81 million from Rs 181.51 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 3.69% to Rs 3,789.22 million, compared with Rs 3,655 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.76, registering 23.23% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.05, or 0.78%, to settle at Rs 133.10. The total volume of shares traded was 256,054 at the BSE (Monday).
