Om Metals Infraprojects, the hydro mechanical engineering company, received order worth Rs 1.93 billion from UP Government.

The company having diverse business activities related to engineering construction, hydro power developments, real estate, entertainment centers and hotel, bagged a contract for construction of Rampur Barrage on Kosi River under extension, remodelling & modernization (E.R.M.) of Kosi Canal System in district Rampur (U.P.) from UP irrigation department. The execution period of this work contract is 32 monts.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.15, or 9.1%, to trade at Rs 37.75. The total volume of shares traded was 102,886 at the BSE (11.36 a.m., Wednesday).
