Nirlon standalone quarterly net soars 3.51 times

Nirlon said a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.51 times to Rs 159.15 million from Rs 45.35 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 10.63% to Rs 591.09 million, compared with Rs 534 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.77, registering 2.81 times growth over previous year period.
