Nila Infrastructures (Nila) has today entered into an MOU with an eminent logistics player and the leading automobile dealer 'Kataria Group' to work jointly for acquiring land and developing industrial and logistics parks, units, sheds, plots, residential colonies, and allied infrastructure at various locations situated near the upcoming automobile hub at Bechraji - about 90 kms from Ahmedabad at Gujarat.

As per the MOU both the parties, through joint venture entities, shall acquire and develop land and sale the same to the automobile, logistics and ancillary customers. The fund required by the joint venture entities shall be infused by both the parties in' equal proportion in the forms of equity contribution or loan as required.

Commenting on this development, Manoj Vadodaria, CMD of Nila Infrastructures said, ''With the Government of Gujarat's encouragement, Gujarat in general, and in the environs of Bechraji in particular is emerging as a major Automobile Hub. The global auto giants are setting up their production facilities. This will call for Tier 2 and Tier 3 auto-component suppliers to come up in the vicinity of the production facility. Both Government and industry is promoting ancillary industry by encouraging and incentivising them."

The Kataria Group is prominent industry player of logistics as well as automobile industry and is the second largest dealer of the India's biggest automobile company 'Maruti Suzuki India'.
