NHPC restores 4th unit of Uri-II power station in J&K

NHPC   has restored a unit of the Uri-II power station in Baramulla district, Jammu & Kashmir, which had been shut down following a fire incident in November last year.

The Unit-4 is the first turbine that has been made operational after a fire broke out at the plant in November last year. All four units of the plant were shut after the incident and the company is working on to restore remaining 3 units of the plant.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.05, or 0.26%, to settle at  Rs 19.  The total volume of shares traded  was  472,337 at the BSE (Tuesday).
