N R B Bearings announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 41.40% to Rs 123.30 million from Rs 87.20 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 10.28% to Rs 1,664.30 million, compared with Rs 1,509 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.27, registering 41.11% growth over previous year period.
