MRF to invest Rs 45 bn in existing plants at Tamil Nadu

 MRF, a major tyre manufacturing company, announced that company has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Tamil Nadu.
This MoU was signed in order to invest not less than Rs. 45 billion in its plants at Perambalur and Arakonam in Tamil Nadu over a period of 7 years.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1146.55, or 2.9%, to settle at Rs 40,639.05. The total volume of shares traded was 3,415 at the BSE (Thursday).
