MRF announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 45.38% to Rs 4,607.30 million from Rs 3,169.10 million in the same quarter previous year. Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 0.60% to Rs 33,860.00 million, compared with Rs 34,064.60 million for the prior year period. Operating margin for the quarter stood at 22.98 percent as compared to 17.83 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 7,782.10 million, compared with Rs 6075.1 million in the previous year period.
