Moser Baer Solar (MBSL), has yet again emerged as India's solar EPC player. The company has achieved this distinction for the second year in running. The recently data by Bridge to India positions Moser Baer Solar as the no. 1 solar company having installed 298 MW out of total of 2603 MW cumulatively till August 2014.

Moser Baer also emerged no 1 in third party EPC installations with 11.5% market share in a highly fragmented market and no. 2 in own EPC installations categories. Its in-house designing experts and understanding of the India solar business has enabled the company to become preferred EPC partner for both private and PSU led solar projects. The projects for PSUs were critical in achieving green power targets of the PSUs and EPC for private developers were instrumental in increasing the solarisation quantum in the states.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.07, or 0.87%, to settle at Rs 8.16. The total volume of shares traded was 172,105 at the BSE (Wednesday).
