Moser Baer, India's leading technology company, has today launched Digital Literacy Programme for ITBP (Indo Tibet Border Police) battalion based in Lakhanawali Camp, Greater Noida. The launch was under Moser Baer Trust, the social arm of Moser Baer India.
The programme is a public civil society partnership for up skilling the paramilitary forces that aims to make the personnel of ITBP digitally literate and comfortable with digital interactions of day to day life.
The 6 weeks digital skills training course is formulated and designed by Moser Baer Trust. After completing the six weeks training, the learners will be tested and certified by Moser Baer Trust. The newly inaugurated DLP Centre has a capacity of teaching 50 trainees per month.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranu Kulshrestha, chief executive, MB Trust, said," Moser Baer Trust always believes in empowering the different sections of the society and also making them self-reliance. So far, we have trained more than 7000 people through our Digital Literacy Programme."
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.12, or 1.28%, to settle at Rs 9.47. The total volume of shares traded was 84,544 at the BSE (Friday).
