Mohit Industries, engaged in manufacturing of texurised yarn and synthetic grey fabrics, announced Thursday the company has purchased 5,000 Sq. mts. of land in Khatalwada village, Taluka Umargaon, Dist. Valsad. The land will be used for future expansion in the company's AAC Blocks Plant in Umargaon.
Company's AAC Blocks plant is running at optimum level of manufacturing capacity. The purchase of said land has been made for meeting with future capacity requirements of the company and is only part of the total land required for expansion.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.6, or 1.12%, to trade at Rs 54.30. The total volume of shares traded was 20,018 at the BSE (1.16 p.m., Thursday).
