Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a passenger, commercial and utility vehicles maker, witnessed a fall in share price on Wednesday after it announced that the company, as part of its efforts to align its production with sales requirements, may observe on a need basis, 1 to 7 days in a month as 'No Production Days' at some of its automotive and/or tractor plants and /or Chakan plant of its wholly owned subsidiary Mahindra Vehicle Manufacturers during the period upto March, 2015.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,222, down Rs 30.25, or 2.42% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 1:18 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,229 and low of Rs 1,200.40. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 32,578.
