Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a passenger, commercial and utility vehicles maker, has completed acquisition of 33.3% stake in Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery (MAM) for JPY 3 billion (USD 25 million). As a result of the capital infusion, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will now hold 66.7% in Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery.

Starting from Oct. 1, 2015, the name of the company has been changed to 'Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery Co. ' from Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery. The company has also announced new organisation.

On May 21, 2015, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and M&M had signed share purchase agreement.

Shares of the company gained Rs 10.8, or 0.86%, to trade at Rs 1,271.50. The total volume of shares traded was 6,664 at the BSE (9.52 a.m., Thursday).
