Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a passenger, commercial and utility vehicles maker, today announced a drop of 4.59% in its domestic auto sales at 42,848 units during September 2015 as against 44,911 units in the same period last year.
The passenger vehicles segment sales declined 7.46% to 19,564 units against 21,141 units in September 2014.
The company's domestic sales stood at 39,693 units during September 2015 as against 42,408 units during the same period last year.
In September 2015, the medium and heavy commercial vehicles segment sales 511 units, registering a growth of 184%. Exports stood at 3,155 units registering a growth of 26%.
Shares of the company gained Rs 4.3, or 0.34%, to trade at Rs 1,265.00. The total volume of shares traded was 19,689 at the BSE (12.24 p.m., Thursday).
