MEP Infrastructure Developers (MEP), a leading player in tolling operations in the road infrastructure sector, has been awarded the rights for collection of user fee for Amra Marg toll plaza by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The contract was awarded by Mumbai-JNPT Port Road Company, a SPV of NHAI. The scope of work also includes widening and improvement in 6.4 km to 14.5 km of SH-54 and 0.0 km to 6.202 km including construction of new six lane bridge on Panvel Creek in the state of Maharashtra.
The operations will commence within 12 days from date of the LOA after complying the statutory formalities like submission of performance security, signing of contract and the period of the contract is 1 year.
The contractual amount for the said project is around Rs 216 million payable to authority on a weekly basis over a period of 1 year.
Shares of the company gained Rs 51.45, or 0%, to trade at Rs 51.45. The total volume of shares traded was 38,561 at the BSE (11.10 a.m., Friday).
