Menon Bearings disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 69.43% to Rs 26.67 million from Rs 15.74 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 26.12% to Rs 248.77 million, compared with Rs 197 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.86, registering 69.23% growth over previous year period.
