Maruti Suzuki India, the largest passenger cars maker in India, today announced a growth of 29.1% in sales volume to 134,209 units in October 2015, compared with 103,973 units sold in same period last year.
The company exported 13,146 vehicles in October 2015, which was 90.4% higher compared with 6,904 units sold in October 2014.
The company's domestic sales during the month stood at 121,063 units, compared with 97,069 units in October last year, representing a rise of 24.7%.
Shares of the company gained Rs 61.85, or 1.39%, to trade at Rs 4,510.50. The total volume of shares traded was 25,002 at the BSE (10.38 a.m., Monday).
