Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India announced a growth of 19.5% in sales volume to 110,147 units in November 2014 compared with 92,140 units sold in November 2013.
It exported 10,123 vehicles, which was 52.7% higher compared with 6,630 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales during the month stood at 100,024 units, compared with 85,510 units in November last year, representing a rose of 17%.
With this, the company finished H1 2014-15 with total sales of 8,35,912 units, a growth of 13.1% over same period previous year. Domestic sales in H1 2014-15 stood at 755,423 units, a growth of 13% over same period previous year.
Shares of the company gained Rs 75.9, or 2.28%, to trade at Rs 3,412. The total volume of shares traded was 9,132 at the BSE (10.37 a.m., Monday).
