Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India announced a fall of 1.6% in sales volume to 111,555 units in March, 2015 compared with 113,350 units sold in March.
It exported 7,836 vehicles, which was 29.3% lower compared with 11,081 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 103,719units, compared with 102,269 units in March last year, representing a rise of 1.4%.
Shares of the company declined Rs 13.2, or 0.36%, to trade at Rs 3,686.05. The total volume of shares traded was 17,238 at the BSE (10.36 a.m., Wednesday).
