Maruti Suzuki India, the largest passenger cars maker in India, delivers 1600 cars on a single day in the state of Karnataka. Maruti Suzuki dealers across the state welcomed the customers to the Maruti Suzuki family with the delivery of the cars on the festive occasion of Var Mahalakshmi observed across the State of Karnataka.

Maruti Suzuki has established itself as a market leader in automobile sales in Karnataka this year. Currently, the company commands a market share of 42.75% in the state.

The company sells on an average 7300 cars per month in Karnataka. The major models which are sold in Karnataka are Swift, Dzire, Celerio & Ertiga. The company's premium offering, Ciaz has also gained overwhelming acceptance by customers in the state. During the April to July 2015 period, the company has sold close to 1200 units of Ciaz.
