MEP Infrastructure Developers (MEP), a leading player in tolling operations in the road infrastructure sector, has received the notification by Public Works Department (PWD)-Government of Maharashtra (GoM), light motor vehicles and buses of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation have been exempted from payment of user fee (toll) with effect from June 1, 2015.
MEP Infrastructure and its subsidiaries, which are operating the following projects awarded by the Government of Maharashtra (GoM), under contract with Maharashtra State Road Corporation (MSRDC) have been included for the exemption on the below mentioned projects as per the notification(s) dated May 26, 2015 issued by the Public Works Department-Government of Maharashtra:
1. Baramati Project, Maharashtra-Operated by SPV-Baramati Tollways.
2.IRDP Solapur Project, Maharashtra-Operated by SPV- MEP IRDP Solapur Toll Road.
3. Kalyan Shilphata Project, Maharashtra-Operated by the Company.
As per the Notification(s) dated May 26, 2015 issued by the Public Works Department-Government of Maharashtra, light motor vehicles and buses of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation have been exempted from payment of user fee (toll) on the above mentioned projects with effect from Jun. 1, 2015.
Shares of the company declined Rs 0.75, or 1.28%, to trade at Rs 57.85 at the BSE (2.27 p.m., Monday).
