Magna Electro Castings announced a decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 4.19% to Rs 8.88 million from Rs 9.27 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 39.64% to Rs 249.52 million, compared with Rs 179 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.94, registering 3.96% decline over previous year period.
