In semi-annual reconstitution of S&P BSE indices, Asia Index included drugmaker, Lupin in the benchmark 30-share index Sensex by removing Tata Power. The reconstitution will be effective at the open of Jun. 22, 2015:

Lupin shares gained Rs 34.8, or 2.01%, to trade at Rs 1,770.40. The total volume of shares traded was 31,987 at the BSE (10.43 a.m., Monday).

Meanwhile, shares of the Tata Power declined Rs 0.65, or 0.86%, to trade at Rs 75.10. The total volume of shares traded was 88,849 at the BSE (10.40 a.m., Monday).
