Lupin said that the allotment committee of directors has allotted 1,18,295 fully paid up equity shares of Rs 2 each. These shares have been allotted upon exercising of options granted to the employees under stock option plans of the company.

The issued and paid up capital of the company has been increased to Rs 89,76,11,596 consisting 44,88,05,798 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the company declined Rs 5.75, or 0.43%, to settle at Rs 1,345. The total volume of shares traded was 27,872 at the BSE (Wednesday).
