Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an engineering and construction conglomerate, witnessed a rise in share prices on Thursday after the company secured new project order in Oman. The company's subsidiary L&T Oman LLC has won a prestigious order from the ministry of defense, Sultanate of Oman against stiff international competition for the construction of Adam Air base.
The contract is for the construction of the Adam Airbase in Al Dakhiliya governorate, Sultanate of Oman.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,541, up Rs 20.35, or 1.34% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 9:58 a.m. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,543 and low of Rs 1,510.20. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 61,542.
