KEC Int'l wins orders worth Rs 12.43 bn

KEC International (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company has secured new orders valuing Rs 12.43 billion in its transmission & distribution, railways and cables businesses.

In transmission & distribution business, the company has secured orders in India, Saudi Arabia and the Americas amounting to Rs 9.95 billion.

Meanwhile, in railway segment, the company has secured an order of Rs 1.37 billion for railway electrification from Central Organization of Railway Electrification.

For cable business, the company has secured orders amounting Rs 1.11 billion for the supply of power and telecom cables.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.1, or 3.53%, to trade at Rs 90.80. The total volume of shares traded was 478,006 at the BSE (12.36 p.m., Thursday).
