Kalpataru Power Transmisison (KPTL) gained on Thursday after the company bagged new orders worth Rs 5.6 billion.
The company has received order for two transmission lines in Kargil of 80 kms worth Rs 2.37 billion from PGCIL. It has secured order worth Rs 1.9 billion from PGCIL for supply, erection and commissioning of 3 transmission line of 400 KV near Agra of 263 kms.
In addition, the company has secured pipeline laying project worth Rs 1.32 billion from Indian Oil Corporation.
Shares of the company gained Rs 12.15, or 5.64%, to trade at Rs 227.50. The total volume of shares traded was 265,036 at the BSE (11.58 a.m., Thursday).
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 233.25 and low of Rs 224.35. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 265,036.
