Kalpataru Power bags orders worth Rs 7.81 bn

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power & infrastructure contracting sector has secured new orders of award of over Rs 7.81 billion.

The company has bagged order from transmission line projects in international geographies namely Malawi and Kuwait of approx. Rs 5.94 billion.

It has also secured order from pipeline project of approx. Rs 1.87 billion from ONGC.

Manish Mohnot, Managing Director of the company said "In the year till date, we have secured orders of around Rs 34.60 billion, this is almost 3 times of order inflow of last year in the same period. Interestingly, all of our business segments, client segments and geographies are contributing this growth".

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.25, or 2.93%, to settle at Rs 254.70. The total volume of shares traded was 8,010 at the BSE (Wednesday).
