Jyoti witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Wednesday after it said Tuesday the company's switchgear division has bagged order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO), Vadodara, India. This order is for supply of about 400 units various types of 11 kV VCB panels valued at Rs 149.2 million. The order is to be executed in 6 months time.
Shares of Jyoti are trading at Rs 81.20, up Rs 4.2, or 5.45% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 10:35 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 85 and low of Rs 79.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 2,424.
