Jyoti, engaged in manufacturing electrical and hydraulic engineering equipments, shares jumped on Friday after it has won a major and prestigious order from Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam in joint venture with Megha Engineering & Infrastructures (MEIL) worth Rs 4.23 billion.
This order is for complete EPC of civil, electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical works including 5 years operation and maintenance for Saurashtra Branch Canal project in Mehsana district.
Shares of the comapny are trading at Rs 79.30, up Rs 13.2, or 19.97% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 11:24 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 79.30 and low of Rs 66. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 41,152.
