JSW Energy disclosed a sharp rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 95.97% to Rs 3,186.30 million from Rs 1,625.90 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 11.19% to Rs 22,512.80 million, compared with Rs 20,246 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.94, registering 95.96% growth over previous year period.
