JSW Steel, an integrated steel manufacturer, has reported a growth of 13% in crude steel production to 11.16 lakh tons for August 2014.

Production of rolled products was during the month at 8.80 lakh tons, witnessing a rise of 6.80% over last year period.

Production of rolled products-long increased by 53.13% to 1.96 lakhs tons.

Shares of the company gained Rs 28.4, or 2.22%, to trade at Rs 1,308.40. The total volume of shares traded was 69,684 at the BSE (2.33 p.m., Friday).
