JSW Steel, an integrated steel manufacturer, has reported a fall of 4% in crude steel production to 1.06 million tons for August 2015.
 
The company reported production of flat rolled products during the month at 0.84 million tons, witnessing a fall of 4% or 0.88 million tons over last year period.
 
The company witnessed a moderate growth of 3% in the production of long rolled products to 0.20 million tons in August 2015 from 0.19 million tons over last year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 40.9, or 4.33%, to trade at Rs 984.50. The total volume of shares traded was 170,934 at the BSE (3.06 p.m., Wednesday).
