Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, today announced the introduction of two new direct flights from Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode to Doha in Qatar, effective from March 15, 2015. Initially, the flights will operate three days a week until May 31, 2015. Subsequently these flights will be revised with new flight timings to operate on a daily basis.

With the launch of these two new flights, Jet Airways now connects Doha with three cities in Kerala, complementing the current daily direct service from Kochi.

The flights will commence operations from March 15 and will operate as per the following schedule till Mar. 28, 2015:

The flights will then be rescheduled from Mar. 29, 2015 to operate direct flights 3 days a week until May 31, 2015, as per the following proposed schedule.

Shares of the company gained Rs 16.3, or 3.75%, to settle at Rs 450.95. The total volume of shares traded was 710,632 at the BSE (Friday).
