Jain Irrigation Systems food division has won order for supply of mango pulp to The Coca-Cola Company worth Rs 7.51 billion for 3 years.
The company said, "This order is for supply of mango pulp with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCBPL), who is the authorized & largest bottler for India, of The Coca- Cola Company, Atlanta."
"This is the third consecutive 3 years contract executed with Jains. Jain's Food Division is a strategic supplier of Fruit Purees to HCCBPL," it added.
The company's food processing division is the largest processor of mangoes in the world with one plant in Jalgaon and two plants in Chitoor.
As part of this partnership, Jain Irrigation and HCCBPL are currently implementing project 'Unnati' a project to improve yields of farmers and build a sustainable supply chain using ultra high density plantation technology.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.50, or 2.39%, to trade at Rs 64.15 at the BSE (10.31 a.m., Tuesday).
