IRB Infrastructure Developers, a highway construction company, has announced that Pathankot Amritsar BOT Project implemented by wholly-owned SPV of the company viz. IRB Pathankot Amritsar Toll Road (SPV), has been issued a provisional certificate by the Competent Authority effective Nov. 27, 2014. Consequently, the SPV has started toll collection on this project effective from November 28, 2014.
The project involves Four-Lanning of Pathankot to Amritsar Section of NH - 15 from Km.6.082 to Km. 108.502 in the State of Punjab under NHDP Phase III on BOT (Toll) Basis; the voncession period is 20 years; estimated cost of the project is Rs 14.45 billion; the company had bagged this project on Viability Gap Funding (VGF) basis and sought VGF of Rs 1.26 billion from NHAI.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.3, or 1.97%, to trade at Rs 274.90. The total volume of shares traded was 122,245 at the BSE (10.54 a.m., Tuesday).
