Inox Wind, India's leading wind energy solutions provider, has bagged an repeat order from Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) for a 50 MW wind power project at Lahori, in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The order is TPREL's third project with Inox Wind after two previous orders of 172 MW.
As a part of the turnkey order, the company will provide TPREL with end to end solutions from development and construction to commissioning and providing long term operations and maintainence services.
The order involves supply and installation of 25 units of 2MW Wind Turbine Generators having highest swept areas.
TPREL is a 100% subsidiary of Tata Power and has 300 MW of commissioned renewable assets. Tata Power, including TPREL's capacities, has a commissioned capacity of 600+ MW of wind and solar assets.
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.95, or 0.80%, to trade at Rs 370.10. The total volume of shares traded was 7,757 at the BSE (11.09 a.m., Monday).
