Inox Leisure announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2015 on higher sales. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 4.93 times to Rs 225.60 million from Rs 45.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 33.99% to Rs 3,113.50 million, compared with Rs 2,324 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 12.93 percent as compared to 4.85 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 402.60 million, compared with Rs 112.7 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.46, registering 4.10 times growth over previous year period.
Shares of the company gained Rs 33, or 15.89%, to trade at Rs 240.65. The total volume of shares traded was 666,038 at the BSE (2.12 p.m., Monday).
