Inox Leisure engaged in the entertainment business within the cinema exhibition industry, witnessed a rise in share price on Friday after the company commenced commercial operations of a new Multiplex Cinema Theatre, at R City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The said Multiplex Cinema Theatre has 9 screens and 2109 seats.

The company said, ''The new Multiplex Cinema Theatre is taken on leave & license basis located at R City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, with effect from Nov. 20, 2015.''

INOX, along with Satyam Cineplexes is now present in 55 cities with 102 multiplexes, 402 screens and a total seating capacity of 104,894 seats across India.

Shares of Inox Leisure are trading at Rs 226.50, up Rs 2.95, or 1.32% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 10 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 227.55 and low of Rs 224.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,935.
