Indian Oil Corporation said its net loss for the quarter ended September 2015 has narrowed to Rs 3,291.70 million from Rs 8984.6 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 23.53% to Rs 853,848.10 million, compared with Rs 1,116,638.10 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 0.81 percent as compared to 0.32 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 6,948.70 million, compared with Rs 3561.4 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 1.36 compared with negative Rs 3.70 in the same quarter last year.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.25, or 0.32%, to trade at Rs 395.5 at the BSE (1.59 p.m, Tuesday).
