IL&FS Transportation Networks, the transportation infrastructure company, today said that its subsidiary MP Border Checkpost Development Company has been issued completion certificate to commercially operate one more checkpost namely, Sagar Lalitpur border checkpost with effect from July 20.

The company said this is in addition to the existing 2 Central Control Facility (CCF Gwalior and CCF Indore) and 15 Border Checkposts already in operation.

These include Agra-Mumbai, Indore-Ahmedabad, Shivpuri-Kota, Betul-Nagpur, Indore-Icchapur,  Mhow-Neemuch, Jabalpur-Jaipur, Seoni-Nagpur, Chindwara-Nagpur,  Kabir-chabutra, Sagar-Kanpur, Ujjain-Jhalawar, Sendhwa-Khetiya and Venkatnagar and Naugaon-Jhansi.

Provisional completion certificate has already been issued and under commercial operations as of date. ''The project is fee based with a concession period of 12 and a half years,'' the company added.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.05, or 0.7%, to trade at Rs 148.25. The total volume of shares traded was 16,969 at the BSE (1.13 p.m., Tuesday).
