Hotel Leela Venture, engaged in the business of hotels and resorts, witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after it announced that the company has engaged JM Financial Institutional Securities for sale of its Chennai and Goa Hotels.
In accordance with the powers delegated by the company's board, the assets sale committee, has decided to commence the process for sale of its hotels in Goa and Chennai. Accordingly, an advertisement is being released inviting interested parties to submit their EOI to JM Financial.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 23.80, up Rs 2.25, or 10.44% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:02 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 24.10 and low of Rs 22. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 489,230.
