HMC-MM Auto, the joint venture (JV) between Hero MotoCorp (HMCL) and Milan (Italy)-headquartered Magneti Marelli (MM), today inaugurated its first autonomous 'production and development centre' at Manesar in the north India state of Haryana.
The new centre will serve as a production facility and innovation hub to develop new generation fuelling systems for HMCL two wheelers. HMCL holds majority stake of 60% in ''HMC-MM Auto'' while Magneti Marelli holds the rest 40%.
Shares of the company gained Rs 9.55, or 0.37%, to trade at Rs 2,605.15. The total volume of shares traded was 5,784 at the BSE (11.25 a.m., Thursday).
