Hindustan Unilever (HUL), one of the leading FMCG firms, announced that pursuant to a share purchase agreement with Brigade Properties, the company has divested its entire shareholding in Brooke Bond Real Estates (BBREPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, in favour of Brigade Properties, a subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises.
Consequently, BBREPL ceased to be a subsidiary of the company with effect from Mar. 23, 2015.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.4, or 0.6%, to trade at Rs 902.90. The total volume of shares traded was 88,507 at the BSE (3.23 p.m., Monday).
