Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, witnessed a rise in share price on Monday after the company reported a marginal gain of 0.44% in two-wheelers sales to 606,744 units in September 2015. The company had sold 604,052 units in the corresponding month last year.
"Even in the sluggish market condition, the company exceeded the landmark of 6-lakh plus monthly sales in a month," the company said.
Shares of Hero Motocorp are trading at Rs 2,457.00, up Rs 43.65, or 1.81% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:01 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 2,459.00 and low of Rs 2,435.70. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 5,071.
