Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, reported a growth of 21% in sales for August 2014.

HMCL sold 5,58,609 units of twowheelers in August 2014 over the corresponding month in the previous year, when the company had sold 4,59,996 units.

Shares of the company gained Rs 151.1, or 5.79%, to settle at Rs 2,759.25. The total volume of shares traded was 55,680 at the BSE (Monday).
